ALL ABOUT THE B(R)ASS
For our new house (that is FINALLY under construction!!) My goal is to do satin brass for (nearly) all of the metal finishes throughout the house. That means everything from the door knobs to the hinges to the drawer pulls to the faucets, shower fixtures, etc. Now, we all know that stainless steel reigns supreme for kitchens, and chrome is the go-to for bathrooms so finding a range top without stainless steel or a toilet without a chrome flush is tricky so I'm going to have to let a few things slide or have them plated if I want to be really anal.
