While many folks are trying to uphold their New Year's resolutions by hitting the gym, designer Alberto Biagetti and artist Laura Baldassari are bringing the gym into the comfort of your own home - but not in the way you'd expect. Inspired by gym equipment, the Body Building collection from Atelier Biagetti is a playful yet gorgeous array of furnishings that resemble gym equipment, from a chandelier that looks like it should have a Russian acrobat suspended from it to a stool that calls to mind an exercise ball covered in luxurious leather and fur, to a metallic leather punching bag. While not functional as exercise equipment, these are purely aesthetic pieces that are sure to strike up a conversation.
